When searching for entertainment for this past weekend I thought I had come across a musical performance in February that I thought was perfect for me and my 10 yr old daughter. ABBA Mania is down the street on February 11 at the Calvin Theater in Northampton. You and your 10-year-old daughter might also be interested in at least two of the Four Sundays in February sponsored by the Northampton Arts Council. The Silver Chord Bowl, a fun and impressive collegiate (and high school) a cappella showcase will be down the street in the other direction at the John M. Greene Hall at Smith College on February 5th. The third Sunday in February (2/19/17) is at the Academy of Music and features a live version of the family radio show "Spare the Rock, Spoil the Child." According to the ticket site it celebrates "LGBTQ youth and the legacy of David Bowie through story, songs, poetry and conversations." Not allowed to post links, but this info should make a google search for any of these three events easier.
