Monica Arango, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician and pediatric endocrinologist. She treats children and adolescents with endocrine conditions, including issues with puberty, growth, diabetes, thyroid gland, and other disorders. She's an advocate for children's health on a global level. Strengthening programs that promote preventive medical care to underserved and underprivileged communities and collaborating with health care providers worldwide are top priorities in her practice. Arango is a member of the Pediatric Endocrinology Society, the Endocrine Society, the European Society of Endocrinology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Born and raised in Pereira, Colombia, Arango's interests outside of work are traveling, biking, nutrition, and organic foods.
