Go underground and back in time to what once was one of America’s most top-secret places. The Titan II missile site 571-7 is now a National Historic Landmark, the last of 54 sites that were on alert across the United States from 1963 to 1987. During 45-minute guided tours you'll see largest land-based missile ever deployed by the U.S., the 103-foot tall Titan II. You'll go in the launch duct, visit the launch control center, experience a simulated launch, and more.

Sorry for the delay. We went on a weekday arvo so the wait was brief. How long should you be prepared to wait? It depends on your level of interest in what defused the cold war 50 years ago. I had traveled from Oz so waiting a couple of hours would have been worth it.
