Super cool place makes me glad I didn’t live in the past, cool artifacts, and really immersive. Really opens your eyes to how people were tortured back in the dayFull review by Trail56254080252

It's a walk thru history of what happens if you break the law .There are very fun interact displays , great displays and a ton of history on torture of the past.Full review by timmovielover

How long should I plan to spend there? What is the usual amount of time for a guest to see everything?

Probably an hour-an hour and half. Just take lots of pictures and some devices have many interactions!

All of it is non-living. You just walk around and read/listen to a speaker through recording talk as you look at things.

We were at the location in St. Augustine. Does the Chicago location have the same stuff?
A:
Chicago museum is bigger than the one in St. Augustine. Some scenes are same but exhibits are different and there are more scenes in Chicago.

I’ve seen that the recommended age is 18+; however, my 14 year old is begging to go. We’ve been to Chicago several times and have already done all the “typical” Chicago things to do. She loves horror and gore, it makes me feel queasy haha. Can anyone tell me their thoughts?
