It was busy when we went but we found some sand to set up. Snorkeling was ok. It's a good beach for families. Bathrooms are near.Full review by Jenise M
Can kids stand up paddleboard in the protected section of the park, or is only swimming/snorkeling allowed?

It is a protected area and I have never seen a sign that says you can't, however it would depend on the number of people in the swimming area. I have been there at times when there are literally too many people in the water to negotiate a paddle board, without running into someone.
