Planning a trip to lake Almanor this summer with the wife and 13 and 2 yr old daughters. What’s the best campground and do they have sand or mud beaches? We have an off-road tent camper. Hookups?

Sorry, I don't know about the beaches, but I would say that there are both. No doubt lots of hook ups and campgrounds.
We will be camping at the PSEA Almanor Camp starting July 28th. We are planning on going out to dinner one night so would love recommendations for dinner. Also where are some good areas for swimming with 10 and 8 year olds. Any ideas of things to do with kids? Also thinking of heading to Lassen for a day trip. We are planning a trip to Lake Almanor in August. Just wanted some info on the cleanliness of the water, water temperature etc. We will be there for a week with our 4 adult sons and 12 year old daughter. Any must do's? Is it easy to rent boats for wake boarding, inner tubing etc. Any advice would be appreicated. Thank you!
