It was amazing, they made it very educational but in a fun way that help my 11 yr old, and 8 yr old attention, while exploring the cave our Guide was funny and very informative of everything we saw.Full review by kpilkington97

I haven't been in a cave for more than 15 years. Are the steps difficult? Are the steps slippery? At the end of Squire Boone they have this awful spiral staircase - that I found both scary and slippery? Are the steps here similar or better? Please let me know.

They do have a steep spiral staircase , but we had no issues with it being slippery. Like in any cave that has water it's gonna be damp and could have some slippery spots. I have been in quite a few caves, and this one is really one of the coolest with the boat ride. The staff were all so helpful! It is a little bit of a hike down and back , but like most caves you will find this. Hope you enjoy it if you go.
Hi, This question is for folks who have been to the Caverns in the last couple of months. What were your experiences of the pandemic precautions in place at the Caverns? I'm seeing some references to packed boats and no masks in some of the recent reviews. Are social distancing and mask wearing practiced? Thanks!

I went last month. Masks are required. The ride was socially distanced and I believe they even sanitized the boat.
