Hi there . I think it was £10. Definitely wasn't more! I found it a really interesting place to visit but I am a student of psychoanalysis so it has that added interest for me. There's a film shown in a room upstairs and it's really moving to hear Freud's voice. I hope you enjoy the visit as much as I did! The statue of Freud is in a street close by too.
how can I get there from st giles hotel in central London?

Go to Tottenham Court Road Underground station (Northern Line) and take the Central Line (Red) 2 stops to Bond Street Station. Get off here and change lines to the Jubilee Line (Grey) taking the train 4 stops to Finchley Road Station. Get off here. On leaving the station cross Finchley Road and turn right. At Natwest Bank turn left up Trinity Walk. At the top of this footpath is Maresfield Gardens. Turn left for the Museum. The museum is on the righthandside- a pretty house. Enjoy.
Please can you give precise route from Finchley road station and is it a really hilly walk ?

Hi Stanley, Thanks for your question. We're a short walk from Finchley Road tube station: on leaving the station cross Finchley Road and turn right. At Natwest Bank turn left up Trinity Walk. At the top of this path turn left onto Maresfield Gardens and you'll get to the Museum at number 20. It's mostly flat, apart from Trinity Walk which is rather steep. We hope you enjoy your visit!
