My wife and I went for a ride and took this trail as opposed to our usual trek in South Eugene. There was a surprising number of camps just off the trail and we noticed several syringes when we walke…Full review by PygmyLlama

Greatest trail around! Open, spacious, and breathtakingly beautiful at nearly every turn. Easy, mild ride or walk. Stay right and give plenty of heads up when passing on the left. Bridges, waterways…Full review by H8096PMrebeccae
We are staying at the Fairfield Suites in Eugene/Spring. Does the bike path go from there to the downtown area? The map on the hotel web site is not very specific. Can I assume that we can get to some of your microbreweries that way - either in or outside of the downtown area? Thanks!

The Willamette River trail goes to Skinners Butte park, from there you can jump off and take on Street Bike paths (High St) to the 5th St Market Area and Downtown. Just an FYI, Skinners Butte Park is where Eugene Skinner (the towns namesake) build his first Cabin, and there is a replica there you can visit. It is really not much to see but interesting.

Best way would be to google it. It will also depend on where you enter the bike trail, which spans several miles, running by the Willamette River.

Hi, I would say most people enter the trail by riding either over or under the bike bridge located at the south side of Ferry St. Bridge, next to EWEB plaza. Otherwise, anywhere in Whiteaker district just head north to the river park and go east or west on the path. Cross the bridge at Valley River and go left to Delta Ponds and ride thru ponds on path.
I love the fact that this is a bike town. We're coming up to visit University of Oregon next month and want to enjoy biking around the trails and stuff, but I'm wondering if there are bike rental places in town? I really don't want to drag our bikes up from San Diego, so I'm wondering if we can rent them there.
