Neat park with lots of trails and not very far from the city. Great cafe across the bridge. Watch for trains now and again. Full review by RL536

We come here once a year from Grande Prairie to memorialize our late daughter Lindsey, along with members of her modeling and camera club. It's a very nice park.Full review by L.J. R

no street address that I know of, but the North entrance is close to the corner of Shaganappi Trail and Bowness Road. There is a place called Angel's Ice Cream at the North entrance - Google tells me but the street address of Angel's is 4105 Montgomery View NW. The closest bus route is the 1 - 7 minute walk from Angel's. The South entrance is off the end of Spruce Drive SW - you can get close by taking the 93 from either the Westbrook or 45th Street LRT stations. You'd need to walk a bit on Spruce Drive and down the gravel road (10-15 minutes?). There is no bus that goes right into the park.
Have you hiked up the steps on the Douglas Fir Trail recently? The city is saying that's it's closed. Just wondering if people are still doing it. Thanks
