Sorry for my previous answer. I had some things wrong. I deleted the old one and revised it below. We just got back from staying at the Diamond Beach Resort - May 2020. There is an exit in the corner by the lazy river. A dirt/sand path (not paved) will take you to the beach. It wasn't bad but could be hard for someone with a disability. The slide, one hot tub and inside bar was closed but unsure if it was because of COVID or because it was not busy. Everything else was opened - theater, game room, lazy river (with inner tubes), pool bar (Friday and Saturday 12-7), gym, spa with appointment, pool.

We had floats in the pool. The resort supplies floats for the lazy river.
