Just a perfectly beautiful place to take your family. So peaceful and beautiful. We spent the whole day hiking and had a picnic. Well worth it!!Full review by CMama1234

There are about 8 miles of trails. From the parking area to view the falls from the top, it's about 3 miles round trip IF you walk just on the gravel road. Add more if you hike to the bottom of the falls. North Creek Trail and South Creek Trail are lovely. Bluff Trail runs along the eastern edge of the mountain. High Adventure Trail is fun! Steep. There's one place where ropes are available to help.

No swimming in the lake, but wading in the shallow pool at the base of Lula Falls is allowed. But if there has been a lot of rain lately, the falls is very powerful and it would be quite difficult or impossible to enjoy that pool of water. Not to mention dangerous! There's a new parking system in place. Only about 100 cars are allowed at a time on Open Gate Days (see website for details). Used to be donation only, but now the Land Trust charges $10/vehicle.
