Fabulous location, brilliant food, the fresh fish from the Pavilion was absolutely delicious; Shelly Beach, Main Beach, walks along the river, its an absolute winner.Full review by Linley M

The lookout in the photo is about 15 minutes easy walk to the east from Nambucca Heads Post Office which is situated at the corner of Bowra Street and Ridge Street. Simply walk east …
The lookout in the photo is about 15 minutes easy walk to the east from Nambucca Heads Post Office which is situated at the corner of Bowra Street and Ridge Street. Simply walk east along Ridge Street but DON'T take the big curve to the left. Instead, keep walking straight ahead east for around 250 metres and look for a small car parking lot on your right side. From there you will see a stunning view over a lovely river and sandy ocean beaches for as long as the eye can see. You can't get there by bus but as I've said, it's a very short walk from the centre of town. Alternatively thumb a lift or catch a taxi.
