The Box Canyon Road was driving and enjoying the mountains. We did that and we enjoyed the mountains. All the mountains were gorgeous! A must see! Full review by Robby G C

We drove from Indio May 7, 2020 to Mecca to drive the Box Canyon road to #10 freeway. Box Canyon road was closed to all traffic just outside Mecca, Ca. Full review by Bob W

It is a pleasant, paved road, with gradual incline. The road in the canyon is spacious, without many tight turns. Abundant places to pull off of the side of the road for scenery and for those with four-wheel drive, there are several trails. The road is a highway, and has many curves, but not too many to induce car sickness.
