Not worth visiting or wasting money! Does not represent a castle at all! You can not go into the dungeon, towers or great hall which are all the main features of a castle!! it is a creepy doll ‘museu… Full review by Imogen T

Past its use by date, very old exhibits. A bit of history but most of the castle was out of bounds. It was disappointing $10 each to enter is a bit steep Full review by Jacqueline D

As I understand it the underground opera is an entirely different entity which simply uses the castle as a venue. The castle itself would be closed during the performance. If you check out the underground opera company website it should give you all the details including costs which from memory are about $70-$80. I have not been to a performance at the castle but the reviews look great. Hope you have a good night out.
