Its 7 lakes in total. Few restaurants around. Really not that much to explore. Quick little walk around the area would be sufficient for most. Its NOT going to be a highlight of your trip to Nepal.Full review by PhilipYos

there isn't an island, though pretty much feels like one - cause the lake surrounds most of the nature at some points. its possible to spend a week and more at the guest houses near the lake at Annapurna view or on the way to majikuna. i know people who stayed for a month at this magical place. there is also a yoga center at that area. enjoy.

If you have time, after visiting Begnas lake you can also move forward to Sundar Danda, from where you can also view the Rupa lake. Rupa lake is the third biggest lake in Pokhara valley of Nepal.
