The main thing is the RAM needs to be in the second slot form the CPU and the 4th slot for the second stick on nearly every board or it will not post in a 2 stick config.

WEBI'm pairing a ryzen 5 5600x with an rtx 3070. There is a bottleneck ratio for every CPU/GPU. One thing that most of those talking heads do is try to keep the CPU at the 1.25:1 ratio so it can keep the GPU fed with data and have a little extra for background processes. Fortunately the 5600X+3080 comes in close to 1:1 depending on the game.
