WEBJun 13, 2022 · Game is stunning (just couple of my screenshots). DX12 is only recommend if you want ray tracing. Otherwise, use DX11 for better performance. DX12 for ray tracing, but when the game crashes (and it WILL crash at some point) reload in DX11 to get passed that bit. DX11 is older and has fewer features.

WEB4070 is an excellent GPU but not much of an upgrade from a 3070. It's about 30% faster, as 4GB more higher bandwidth VRAM, while also tends to run quieter and draws less power. DLSS FG and AV1 in hardware are nice niche features too. If you're a 1440p gamer it's a solid upgrade and the VRAM will be useful.
